The Legends Charity Game is Here

A team of Portuguese icons will face a World Legends XI in Lisbon, raising funds for charities supporting families in need in Ukraine and worldwide.

Portugal Legends

Ballon d’Or winner Luís Figo will lead a squad packed with fan favorites like Ricardo Quaresma and Deco, managed by Costinha.

World Legends

The World Legends team features an array of huge names including 2x World Cup Winner Cafu, Barcelona legend Carles Puyol, Ballon d’Or winner Kaká alongside many others. Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel will take charge of the World Legends team.

Venue

Given that the Champions League will also be played in the same week, the venue is still yet to be confirmed. The match will either take place at Benfica’s Estádio da Luz or Sporting’s Estádio José Alvalade.

Charities

The Legends Charity Game is more than a game — it’s a rallying cry for unity, compassion, and purpose. Every goal scored, every cheer from the stands, and every donation raised will provide support for families in need in Ukraine and across the world.

The aim is to raise over €1,000,000 for the selected charities: Red Cross Portugal, International Alert, Cáritas Portuguesa and The Ukrainian Red Cross.
