Fantasy FC has arrived, bringing a new level of dynamic upgrades to Football Ultimate Team™! Players in this campaign earn boosts based on their real-life performances, with stats like goals, clean sheets, and overall contributions determining their improvements.

This year, a brand-new upgrade system has been introduced, rewarding sportsmanship—players who avoid yellow or red cards will receive extra upgrades. Additionally, Fantasy Heroes will receive boosts based on the performance of their former clubs in upcoming domestic league fixtures.

How It Works

Fantasy FC cards will evolve based on team and individual achievements, with opportunities to upgrade attributes like OVR rating, PlayStyles, Skill Moves, and Weak Foot.

Fantasy FC League: A New Competitive Experience

To bring the competitive energy of Ultimate Team™ to life, we’re introducing a new Live UT Friendly—the Fantasy FC League! This limited-entry mode focuses solely on winning matches, with structured rewards given every two victories.

• 36 total entries available across the event.
• 12 entries unlocked on February 23rd, February 27th, and March 3rd.
• Win-based reward structure, with three exclusive player items available:

Fantasy FC Cup: Unique Squad-Building Challenge

The Fantasy FC Cup is also making a comeback! Featuring the same OVR-based squad building requirement, this competition challenges players to build a unique squad to compete for special rewards.

• Kicks off February 21st, with two refreshes throughout the campaign.
• Each refresh brings new House Rules, updated entry conditions, and fresh objectives.
• The first version of the Fantasy FC Cup will use the Mystery Ball mode!

Fantasy FC Upgrade System: How It Works

Fantasy FC players receive boosts based on team and individual performance in real-life league matches.

✅ Performance-Based Upgrades:

• Team wins 2 out of 4 league matches → +1 OVR & new Role++.
• Team scores 10 goals in 4 matches → One face stat upgraded to 99.
• (Defenders, GKs, CDMs only) 1 clean sheet in 4 matches → +1 PlayStyle+ & 1 base PlayStyle.
• (Midfielders, Attackers) 1 goal or assist in 4 matches → +1 PlayStyle+ & 1 base PlayStyle.
• Avoiding yellow or red cards in 4 matches → +1 OVR & 5★ Skill Move OR 5★ Weak Foot Upgrade.
• Winning the primary domestic cup → +1 PlayStyle+ & 99-rated stat boost.
• Winning the domestic league → +1 OVR & third PlayStyle++.

📌 If a player already has the maximum PlayStyle+, they will receive an alternative upgrade instead.

Which matches count toward player upgrades?

📌 Only domestic league matches contribute to non-seasonal upgrades.
📌 Cup matches only count for the domestic cup-winning upgrade.

Does my player need to play to receive team-related upgrades?

🚫 No! Team-based upgrades (team wins & team goals) apply even if the player doesn’t feature in the match.

What if my player already has 5★ Weak Foot & 5★ Skill Moves?

🎯 The player will receive a +1 OVR boost instead.

When does player tracking begin?

📅 Tracking starts the moment a player enters Ultimate Team. For example, if a player is added on February 26, then their first match that same day will count.

How does the Clean Sheet upgrade work?

• Clean Sheets apply to Goalkeepers, Defenders, and CDMs.
• To qualify, the player’s team must concede 0 goals and the player must play at least 60 minutes.
• If subbed off after 60 minutes with a clean sheet, the upgrade still applies even if the team concedes later.
• If sent off after 60 minutes, the upgrade will not apply if the team concedes afterward.

Do players need to play to receive the "No Yellow/Red Cards" upgrade?

🚫 No! If a player doesn’t feature in the four matches but doesn’t receive a card, they will still get the upgrade.
