EA Sports FC 24 Title Update 4 Patch Notes

EA Sports has recently revealed the latest update for FC 24, which primarily focuses on addressing a significant gameplay bug known as the 'Trickster Glitch.' This bug allowed players with the Trickster+ PlayStyle to stick the ball to the dribbler's leg, enabling them to easily run into the goal and score. This issue had a major impact on Ultimate Team's competitive multiplayer, with prominent streamers exploiting it to dominate the Weekend League.

EA Sports temporarily disabled the Trickster+ PlayStyle but has not yet addressed calls for punishing those who exploited the glitch. The FC 24 Title Update 4 is designed to fix this bug, as well as resolve other issues. However, there is no mention of the Trickster+ PlayStyle returning to the game.

The update includes some gameplay changes, although the FC 24 community had hoped for more significant alterations. Notable changes in Title Update 4 include a reduction in the amount of curve that can occur on first-time precision passes taken at extreme angles, a slight reduction in the potential accuracy of acrobatic shots, and a preference for players to use the foot closest to the touchline when crossing from a wing position.

Some other key updates in the patch notes include addressing issues in Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs, and VOLTA, as well as various general, audio, and visual improvements. The update will soon be available for all versions of FC 24.

FC 24's launch has not been without controversy, as it faced criticism for offering a $30 Ultimate Team pack before the game's official release. Additionally, FC 24's launch sales have seen a 10% decline in comparison to FIFA 23's launch sales in Europe, and a 3.7% decrease compared to FIFA 22's launch in 2021. Notably, FC 24 is EA's football video game franchise, and it saw a name change this year after the breakdown of EA Sports' relationship with FIFA. Despite these challenges, FC 24 has garnered more than 11.3 million players worldwide, with a nearly 20% increase in new players compared to the previous year.
